Pro-Shape

Constant technological research and study for their deal ergonomics have led to the development of a new generation of protectors certified to EN 1621.1/97 Standard capable of combining a high level of protection for compliance to the Standard with extreme flexibility and incomparable comfort. A sandwich composed of an outer layer in polymer derived from F1 racing with the highest shock absorption capacity and remarkable elasticity is bonded to an inner layer of polyethylene foam of the highest thickness to create an extremely flexible and deformable structure that also vaunts high shape retention for adaptation to the shapes of the body in order to ensure excellent ergonomics

D-Dry

Thanks to its special structure, the particular hydrophilic membrane applied to D-Dry fabric ensures a perfect waterproof seal while permitting remarkable breathability that promotes the elimination of the moisture produced by the body. This technical material was developed by D-Tec® to ensure the maximum comfort under different weather conditions. D-Dry® technology guarantees garments a level of breathability sufficient to ensure the elimination of the moisture produced by the body even during under the most exerting riding conditions. The particular D-Dry® structure ensures perfect seal against penetration by rain and wind under adverse weather conditions and high riding speeds. Laboratory tests show water penetration resistance values equal to over 10,000 mm of water column height.

Gore-Tex® Pro-Shell

Articles with this type of construction guarantee the maximum protection under extreme conditions and during prolonged intense rain thanks to the use of advanced design techniques, such as two- and three-layer structures, combinations of resistant outer fabrics, specific membranes and sturdy liners.

Primaloft®

PrimaLoft insulation material offers superior performance for high-quality equipment for protection against the cold. PrimaLoft is incredibly soft, lightweight, and breathable with optimum water repellence that keeps you dry, warm, and comfortable even under the most adverse atmospheric conditions. Super-thin patented PrimaLoft microfibers are subjected to a special treatment through an exclusive process that creates a nucleus characterized by incredible insulation properties.

Thermo Fabric

Neoprene

Technically known as “polychloroprene”, a divided cell material with 0% water absorption.

Lorica

This synthetic material used for Racing models guarantees the best tensile strength for resistance against tear.

Carbon

Composite material composed of a weave of fibers dipped in resin and then permitted to solidify. The starting point is carbon filament of various thickness but always fairly slender.

Microelastic

Extensive research in ergonomics has paid off with this new Dainese patent filed to further increase riding comfort while keeping safety levels high at the same time. Bonding an insert in elasticated fabric beneath a panel in leather permits localized micro-elasticated areas where the body requires freedom of movement most while also increasing the area’s abrasion resistance as well. This is achieved by reducing the number of panels and the stitches that connect them, while also keeping greater thickness in the panel itself than in traditional elasticated inserts.

3D Bubble Liner

Born and tested to the needs of racers like Valentino Rossi, this particular three-dimensional liner permits the creation of an air chamber between the inside and outside of the suit in order to provide an ideal microclimate during both summer and winter. It is no longer necessary to insert or remove the old thermal liner that compromised perfect fit and size when the weather changes. The 3D Bubble liner ensures the same fit all year round

Cordura® Comfort fabric

This fabric with good resistance to wear and tear featured in the Dainese® Moto 09 Collection ismade in high tenacity texturized Nylon 6.6 in the warp and in high tenacity texturized stretch Nylon6.6 in the weft. This new stretch product guarantees more comfort than traditional Cordura®versions thanks to its capacity to extend and then return to its original form, in this way offering the wearer greater freedom of movement. Second Skin/2Skin Technology

Like a second skin: once again, Dainese introduces a revolutionary new technology, obviously patented, by combining leather’s mechanical properties with the bi-axial elastic properties of highly resistant S1 fabric. A leather panel is glued on top of the S1 fabric composed of an elastomer coated with polymide that perfectly follows the body’s shape and movement thanks to its bi-axial elastic properties. The leather panel provides even higher abrasion resistance in the areas subject to greatest risk while offering the wearer amazing mobility and peerless ergonomics. At the same time, this permits the exploitation of the greater air permeability of fabrics than leather, to the advantage of greater abrasion resistance than that t of a traditionally perforated surface.

 

S1 fabric

Continuous technological development and the pursuit of constantly improving performance led to the evolution of the bi-axial Arrow-FK fabric now known as S1 that increases mechanical properties. This fabric for sports apparel composed of an elastomer coated with Cordura® polymide is distinguished by elevated mechanical strength and bi-axial elastic properties to guarantee excellent comfort levels.
